Nonprofits Encouraged to Submit Proposals for Leadership Community Initiative

The Chamber Alliance of Mason County invites local nonprofit organizations to submit project proposals for the 2025 Leadership Mason County community impact initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for your organization to benefit from the talents and energy of this year’s leadership cohort.

Leadership Mason County is a six-month program designed to foster professional growth and equip local professionals with the skills they need to better understand community dynamics and develop as leaders. Throughout the program, participants engage in sessions that strengthen their leadership capabilities while also working on projects that address real-world needs in Mason County.

A key component of the program involves giving back through hands-on projects that support the community. In 2024, the cohort of 17 individuals collaborated on multiple occasions to help renovate a Habitat for Humanity home and provide assistance to the Lakeshore Food Club. For 2025, a group of approximately 12 participants will be looking for another impactful project to complete.

Eligible projects should be able to be completed in one afternoon, allowing participants to make a tangible difference in just a few hours. If your organization has a project that could benefit from this dedicated group, we encourage you to apply!

The deadline for applications is November 30, 2024. Please fill out the form below, providing as much detail as possible about your project. If your project is selected, the Chamber will contact you in December to schedule a work session in 2025.
