Leadership Mason County is a transformative six-month program designed to foster professional growth. Engaging sessions empower local professionals with the tools they need to recognize the dynamics and systems of the local community while honing their leadership skills.

A key program component involves giving back through hands-on projects that support the community. In 2024, the cohort of 17 individuals collaborated multiple times to help renovate a Habitat for Humanity home and provide assistance to the Lakeshore Food Club. For 2025, this group of 18 participants will be looking for another impactful project to complete.

Local nonprofits are invited to engage with this cohort of professionals by submitting project proposals for the 2025 Leadership Mason County community impact initiative. Eligible projects should be able to be completed in one afternoon, allowing participants to make a tangible difference in just a few hours. Organizations with a project that could benefit from this dedicated group may apply by November 30 at ludington.org.
