WSCC Theater Department Presents, The Wizard of Oz Run Time 2 Hrs (One intermission) Step into a world of wonder with The Wizard of Oz, a dazzling stage adaptation inspired by the beloved The Wizard of Oz. Featuring the iconic songs you know and love, including “Over the Rainbow,” this magical production brings Dorothy, Toto, and their unforgettable friends to life as they journey down the Yellow Brick Road. Join Dorothy, the brave and big-hearted dreamer from Kansas, as she is swept away to the colorful Land of Oz. Along the way, she meets the Scarecrow, a lovable and quick-witted companion in search of a brain; the Tin Man, gentle and sincere, longing for a heart; and the Cowardly Lion, a humorous yet endearing friend determined to find his courage. Together, they face the mysterious and powerful Wizard, the dazzling citizens of Oz, and the unforgettable Wicked Witch of the West, whose fiery presence and relentless pursuit add thrilling tension to their journey. Filled with heart, humor, and spectacular stage magic, this production captures the spirit of a story that has captivated audiences for generations. From dazzling costumes and imaginative sets to timeless themes of courage, friendship, and the meaning of home, The Wizard of Oz offers an unforgettable theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
